Vivek Vikram Chaudhuri

Vivek Chaudhuri is a senior at McNair Academic High School in Jersey City and President of SafeTeens Online. He joined SafeTeens in 2022 as New Jersey Ambassador, later becoming Global Ambassador and Director of Global Partnerships.

At SafeTeens, Vivek wants young people to create, connect, and thrive in a world where digital life and GenAI are increasingly intertwined. His focus is giving teens the skills to make the most of technology while staying safe, and a voice in shaping their digital future.

His research on youth digital readiness and mental health fuels his advocacy on the national stage. Vivek was the only high-school speaker at both the National Cybersecurity Alliance’s CONVENE Conference and UENIX Enigma, bringing a youth perspective to cybersecurity, technology, policy, and government leaders.

A builder and tinkerer at heart, Vivek turns ideas into something real—from GenAI-powered knowledge maps and neurotech for spotting early signs of Parkinson’s to figuring out how we might better defend Earth from asteroids.

Beyond technology, Vivek enjoys fencing, chess, taekwondo, soccer, and cooking. A second-degree black belt, he teaches taekwondo to neurodivergent children and has honed his culinary and knife skills through an apprenticeship at an international eco-restaurant.
